Philosophy:

Our philosophy is to address frustrations and challenges by focusing attention, energy and talent on the opportunities they present.

Historically, change efforts were driven by defining a “problem platform” to mobilize people. That is, the group would describe a scarily compelling reason to change “or else.”

This approach worked relatively well because it leveraged the natural tendency of people to catastrophize the future. However, we now know, and can empirically prove, that fear-based thinking limits creativity and robs people of their passion. Although some may consider creativity and passion a luxury, we think they are essential to progressive and best-in class performance.

Seeing all client engagements as a “partnership”, we empower resilient, progressive, passionate leaders within organizations. We believe that focusing on what’s “right with people”, versus what is wrong, unleashes creativity and inspires action.

Katrina Lempenski

Katrina Lempenski is an accomplished consultant, executive coach and leadership trainer who ignites the growth of high-performing people. With a 15-year business background, she has advised leaders of cities, states, countries and companies, such as IBM, Ogilvy, Goldman Sachs, Nielsen, Arch Re Insurance, McCann plus such Governments as Australia, Japan, New York City, Pennsylvania, Portugal, Texas and Wales.

Driven by the human side of business, Katrina partners with introspective professionals who want to increase their effectiveness and performance excellence while operating authentically.  Her blended Economics and Positive Psychology experience forms her unique interdisciplinary approach to leadership work.  With a globally comprehensive viewpoint on human development, she believes in the importance of using resilience based leadership as an intentional asset.  Her self-reliance based advisory instills lasting change impact that equally benefits both professional and employer with commitment and respect.

Katrina earned her BSBA in Business and Spanish from The College of Saint Rose, and her coaching and Positive Psychology accreditations from The Martha Beck Institute and The Flourishing Center.  She has taught at NYU’s Stern School of Business as a leadership trainer and sits on the YP Board of NAMI.  A native Vermonter, Katrina resides in Sleepy Hollow, NY with her family.
